This workshop is the capstone event in the Instructor Certification Program.

We’ve designed the entire Yoga Calm Certification Program to prepare you for an uplifting workshop experience – and success in bringing Yoga Calm into your classroom, studio or wherever you work with children. Thus, this two day capstone event isn’t just an opportunity to further hone your new skills. It’s also a time to celebrate all you have learned.

The first night will feature a delicious meal with plenty of time to get acquainted with other Yoga Calm practitioners, followed by a restorative yoga session. The second day will start with a yoga session, giving plenty of time to ground and center, as well as stretch out those travel muscles. We’ll then break into two small groups in which you’ll be asked to lead your group in a 30 minute class plan based on one of the five Yoga Calm principles (Stillness, Listening, Grounding, Strength, Community). Reflection, feedback and collegial sharing processes will help create a safe, yet powerful learning environment.

In addition to teaching your favorite class plans with each other, you will have the opportunity to share and receive class plans from other participants, potentially coming away from the workshop with dozens of new plans and ideas!

The last day, we will provide global feedback and additional training in teaching theme-based classes. And then, wrapping up the weekend will be a special session in how to develop your own business and promote your Yoga Calm classes for children, including receipt of your business starter kit. Finally, we celebrate your accomplishment!
